GEON wins big at the Pride In Print Awards
GEON outshone competition, winning a total of six gold medals and a Supreme award for lables at this year's Pride In Print awards. Additionally, GEON also received eight highly commended certificates on the night- making GEON one of the most recognised entrants.
Andrew Durrans, GEON's general manager, New Zealand was very happy with the result. "I'm so proud of all the awards we've won over the years," he said. "GEON has featured heavily in the Pride In Print awards since their inception in 1993 and we're one of the top five overall winners."
Andrew Durrans was particularly proud of the award presented to a young apprentice for binding and finishing. "I am very passionate about apprentices and it was great to have a GEON apprentice recognised in this way," he said. "We're constantly looking at new ways to attract and retain quality young people in the industry."
GEON's CEO, Graham Morgan wasted no time in backing up his general manager. "I'm proud to announce our success at the Pride In Print awards which recognise excellence and exceptional work within the printing industry throughout New Zealand," he said. |
